wipe system protects and prolongs lens clarity for years. There's no need to
spend hundreds of dollars on new headlights. The kit provides superior results
without the need for a drill or power tool. This kit provides an easy-to-use
solution to dull headlights and increases visibility for safer driving.
Kit includes: 3
restoration pads of various grits from 2400 to 8000 grit, spray lubricant
(4oz.), lens clarifying compound (4oz.) and lens sealing wipe (4"x4")

Turtle tip: For LIGHT
cleaning and to maintain clarity, use Turtle Wax 2-in-1 Headlight Cleaner and
Sealant.
Directions of use:
- Wash headlight lens to remove surface dirt. TIP:
use masking tape to protect surrounding paint surfaces.
- Apply Lens Clarifying Compound to a cotton cloth
and rub over entire lens using firm pressure. Buff with a clean terry cloth.
Restore only one lens at a time. If lens turns clear, proceed to Step 3
below. If lens is not clear after
using the lens Clarifying Compound, proceed Step 2a below:
a)
Apply
Spray Lubricant to the green polishing pad (#1) and directly to lens. Use pads
on only those areas requiring restoration. Begin rubbing pad #1, using firm
pressure, in a back-and-forth motion over the lens until much of the oxidation
is removed. Use the Spray Lubricant as necessary to keep the lens and pad wet. Flip
to the tan side of the polishing pad (#2). Rub back and forth in opposite direction
(90 degrees) of the green pad for 1 minute, keeping the pad and lens surface
wet using the Spray Lubricant.
b)
Using the
teal side (#3) of the second pad, repeat process, in opposite direction of
previous pad side, for 1 minute. Flip to the purple side (#4)and repeat
process, in opposite direction of previous pad side, for 1 minute.
c)
Dry lens with a cotton towel. Apply Lens
Clarifying Compounds and rub thoroughly until the lens turns clear. Let
compound dry to a haze and buff with a cotton cloth. Lens Clarifying Compound
can also be applied by machine with a foam at 1500 RPM.
- Important: Restore both lenses before opening the
Lens Base coat Wipe. Open pouch containing the Lens Base Coat Wipe. Using
the plastic glove (included in kit), quickly coat both lenses with the wipe.
Once dry, immediately follow with the Lens Sealing Wipe, which helps
prevent future yellowing. Coating will cure within 24 hours; however, vehicle
can be driven immediately after application.
NONE: Headlight lens clarity will dramatically improve
with proper use of this kit. Cracked, pitted, lenses water fogged from the
inside or severely weathered lenses may not return to the original condition.
